If you are using "Windows 7" you have to right click on your "Desktop", then select "Personalize", then select "Display", then select "Adjust Resolution" and then from the "Resolution" drop down box, select your wanted resolution. Good luck man. If you cannot see your desktop, then you have to re install your machine, because your machine has either corrupted data files, or your GPU data software are corrupted. When you restart your machine, simply wait for a prompt in which it tells you to initiate a system re install and commence it. If you are not prompted on your system restart to initiate a system restore or re install via the "F" keys, then you need your system restore CD, and if you do not have this you need to take your machine to a store where somebody can fix this for you and simply ask them to make a copy of this system restore CD for you to avoid having to pay over and over for machine maintenance and restoring.
