Its fine to delete it. The game looks for it on opening and will recreate it if it isn't found.

Here is an idea you can try to see if the character has been deleted or not, try and create a new character with the same name, if it doesn't let you, then your character has been deleted otherwise you may have an issue with your files.

I'll just wait the 8hours, if I still have the problem I'll fill out the form, if this name was \ were deleted I guess I'd just quit, no biggie to be honest.

Why quit how much did you invest into him? but yeah i would just wait that's all you can do at this point

Yeah me too i don't like to see people go for these types of reasons, let me know how the waiting game works i would deff wait 8-12 hours though for sure
