Ok, I'm not a PC expert... But if I remember correctly
C: = ur OS,Drivers, programs
D: = data storage (Music,Pics,Video's, etc)
If you don't know

Do not do anything to your D drive unless you know what you are doing, because your D drive has important system data and your machine's re install information in case you need to reset your machine to its factory conditions. Your C drive is where most of your installed programs will be located that you regularly use. Small, but very important files that are required for your machine to run will be located in your D drive if it is a system partition created by the manufacturer. Here is a similar question that might grant you a different opinion:

before helping u should all read what im asking
i have nothing about my OS in my files, I have an EMPTY D; DRIVE
Is that hidden or anything or is it free?
The empty D: drive with space on it means one of 2 things.
You have 2 partitions on 1 HDD
You actually have 2 HDD's in your computer.
If it is separate partitions you could merge them but I believe this requires a formatting.
If you want to know if anything is hidden on the D: drive type 'show hidden files' into your search bar and click the first result, there is an orb you click to show hidden files and folders, apply.
