Freezing is probably a bad idea because of the humidity. (Unless you have a freezer or cooler that uses a humidity controlled cooling unit, much like an air conditioner)
Do NOT put it near heat or a fire!(Hopefully you weren't dumb enough to do that in the first place)
Most electronics can be exposed to -20celcius before it is a problem (that is assuming there is very low/no humidity) but heat exposure is generally a bad idea for all electronics. As a rule of thumb, if it is hotter than you can withstand, then it is hotter than your devices can withstand.
