They are considered 3rd programs on here as per my convo with Senior Moderator Hapycmpr & discussions regarding them or there usage is prohibited on d2jsp

Sorry

That'd mean you can't discuss any program except for Diablo 2 on this site.
Yet people discuss fraps, aim, skype etc.etc all the time.

Your discussion with mods are invalid, and it'd mean they're wrong.
At least until they change the rules, which still doesn't mention anything about proxies.

This. Facebook apps would be considered modifications to programs; Programmer's Heaven wouldn't even exist as it deals with 'third party programs'; half the threads in general help asking 'how do I run program X?' would be closed. Oh, and wait, isn't THIS a game exploit? Or THIS?

The reason why these aren't closed is because they are not illegal, just as proxies are not illegal. If the mods want their discussion banned, they need to re-write the rules; otherwise there is no rule currently existing forbidding it, and as such, it is allowed.

Proxys are considered 3rd party programs on d2jsp & cannot be discussed

As stated earlier by me:

Running Multiple instances of D2 from the same PC violates Blizzard's TOU aggreement & will result in ur CD keys being permanintly banned

Encouraging others/helping facilitate others to violatle the site rules is also not allowed & may result in punishments (suspensions/warns) being issued

if u are up for discussion then proxyes arent a 3rd party program it is a legal program to keep anonym on the internet and in games. and that is btw. 100% legal

You are the one asserting its illegality; if you believe this to be so, provide evidence for it. I disagree entirely that it even is banned for discussion, as do the majority of the posters ITT.

You may post the discussion, not that it matters, due to him being wrong, but still.

Proxies cannot be discussed, especially because they're often used for the wrong reasons.
