I can help you with linux setup if you have no knowledge of linux at all.
I've removed all encryption, but now it doesn't have a password on the router. Is there any way to JUST have a password with no encryption? I'm not actually sure how to do that, it only allows me to choose WPA/WEP/AES, neither of which I want as they seem to slow me down.

I personally get this, which I'm surprised at, considering some of the crap speeds I get. My upload speed is also terrible, and I'm not sure why that is.
Also, if you could help with linux, that would be incredibly helpful. If nothing else, I'd just enjoy playing with it, seeing how it works etc. I've been told it isn't compatable with a lot of things yet and is difficult, though.
I've actually got an age-old Ubuntu OS disk sitting on my shelf, Vista just doesn't recognise disks I put into it. Ugh.
