Yes, if the game is as serious as games such as Runescape and Neopets, then you could be punished.
Many D2JSP traders have been banned from Neopets, Runescape I'm not too sure.

As far as I'm concerned, the rule is there to keep people trading in-game currencies/items for other in-game currencies/items. So trading for things outside of the game is against the rules and is not limited to money.

Is there any way to reprimand this user who is harassing me and now threatening (if he hasn't already) to report me to the Dev's of the game? He is already locked and scammer tagged. He also have 50% warn. He is clearly on the wrong path, and now he feels the need to take it out on me because I called him a scammer in a topic.

Is there anything that can be done? (Most likely it won't be prevented, but if that is possible then I would gladly op for that)

Guild wars and tons of other games ban users for trading fg vs In game currency. They don't know anything about d2jsp and see you can pay money for forum gold.


EVE would want you to buy a plex, and sell it for ISK, not pay d2jsp for forum gold, and buy isk. Plenty of users get banned in a wide variety of games, just monitor "Other games" saying "jsp" in any chat window is a likely a sure fire way to get banned.

Just a few days ago someone got banned from Guild wars for trading fg. It is at your own risk and you would honestly be silly to think they can tell the difference between a site like d2jsp and some Chinese gold farming site and or even give a shit.

You are fucking up the game economy by using assets from another game to get wealthy fast and they will remove you from the environment. Read the EULA and its clear using d2jsp currency is in violation of it.

I've played EVE for years and I recently just sold my 5 year old pilot, trust me CCP will ban you for trading ISK vs fg.

I take it your talking about iNuke / Naikon... sucks you had tell him your IGN, he is just a punk. Though he hasn't done anything in violation of the d2jsp rules, he simply got your game name from a friend or a multi and than reported you.

Well with reguards to this. I have never said or claimed in game that i am in anyway shape or form selling/buying isk. I always use my alt (Which is the char/account he does not know or is reporting, He plans on reporting my main)
How I make it sound in game is that i am Loaning the isk, or being loaned the isk. This is what i pm every user that i trade with before we go into the trade:

Ok mate heres how it works
To insure we are both safe, convo me in game: (Alts Name, Hiding to prevent him from finding out)
Then your going to ask me for a loan of
Basically say something like: Hey mate how are you. I hear you give out loans, would i be able to get one?
Basically we will wing the convo from there but this way ccp doesnt think your buying isk or im selling it. Of course you dont have to pay me back cause you are buying it
Also please dont mention JSP in game.
And finally if you could send the fg once i say something like: Ok mate ill send the isk your way now, just give me a sec to check my mail.

The problem is when EVE looks at your entire account history its going to be obvious some fishy shit is going on with millions of ISK.

I sympathize for you and it seems like you've taken safety measures but the fact is using a site like d2jsp is in violation of their EULA, and when they check over your account (assuming he doesn't link them to the jsp trades that match the dates / ISK amounts cause than your just fucked.

PM Raeky or Darkfire, they are 2 retired moderators / trusted tagged users and the only reason an EVE section exists...


Raeky is one of the original people that worked on d2jsp back in 2002, but if anyone could do anything to that user it would be them.

Actually, I just read the PM conversation you posted, if you could take screen shots of that, its pretty obvious he is trying to black mail you, you should find out where he wants the forum gold sent for the black mail to find his multi.

Also STOP replying to him in any thread, your giving him ammo if he back links those threads to CCP bro... you kind of fucked yourself by talking to much, you should have just ignored it and let him report you, but you totally said in a bunch of threads whats up. Just stop replying to him.
