find and download MalwareBytes Anti Malware
run a full scan

Edit: try HijackThis to scan, it goes through hidden files too
if nothing is detected, it may be a networking issue

malwarebytes found hotpotato (random adaware program, pretty useless)
hijackthis found ask toolbar, nothing else (not really dangerous)
did rootkit scans, found nothing

avast detected ~4 trojan downloaders (possibly blocked them before they installed, and they were the same. probably tried to keep installing itself) a few days ago, i'm pretty sure this is related to the problem and probably damaged some files or registry keys which is slowing down your computer

since it drops fps in many game, i don't think its a network issue. i checked quick and nothing was changed for his network settings

ran speedfan, normal computer temperature

you're pretty much due for a reformat, you have a lot of crap on your computer :)
take a day that you have nothing to do, save all your files/folders (that you need) and reformat

i'm all out of ideas, sorry about that. if you experience any other problems that could help me identify the problem, that would be great

Already tried that, but it didn't work. I ended up doing a reformat of my computer and everything is working properly so far.

Is there any way I can check to see what my wifi card is? The drivers given to me aren't working -_-

You can google that, they will show you a program you can run online to check all your specification models, thats what I used when I formated my desktop.

I can't post it here since it isn't an approved link.

Quick question. I downloaded the drivers and unzipped them, but it didn't automatically go to the install phase. What file should I look at to actually install the drivers? That's the only problem I'm having with this right now =\

Edit: These are the instructions given by Dell

6.Click the Start button and then click Run.
7.Type C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R262653 in the Open textbox and then click OK.

How can I do this on windows 7? Think those directions are for vista/xp

Installing the drivers I would recommend to go to the official website of each, driver are free for download, and as it is from the original brand it actually goes smoother then if you download it from another website.

You don't need to type, just go check your Harddrive *C* then go to the file DELL then drivers then R262653

if you don't find this manually then yeah it is probably for vista/xp but some programs are also suitable for windows seven
