wait what? iv played D2 with this cd/cdkey etc on my old windows comp. last time i played was at least 2 years back and just recently bought this mac and on the cd case it says PC/MAC?

Sorry my fault. I missread your post. I'm sure i know your problem aswell. But i can't remember atm. You need a special installer for some programs on your mac. =/

All right, you need the Native Installer for Mac OS. Sadly, the corresponding download page from Blizzard is down and I can find no other download link.

But this could already help you: Try to google for a Native Installer for Diablo 2.
I couldn't find any download, yet.

To cheer you up: that installer will definitely help.

Gah its alright but im so keen to play... its been a while but D2 is an all time favourite and i really just want to muck around on it, depressing me that i cant

I don't know about that, sorry. But I assume you will only need the native installer for the classic version fo Diablo 2. Therefore you can maybe install LoD with the standard installer.

how do i do that? if thats the thing were ur aloud to do it once by entering ur cdkey i think i may have already done that :/
