I've done absolutely everything, I finally figured out a way to reset chrome completely by renaming a file, but the dang line is still there!

Renaming file were my next option. But hm. Is it so annoying? I tried to google about near same problems. But couldn't find anything. Normally cleaning catch etc should work. But maybe you just stay with it?
