OFC, the wireless card of each computers need to be the same as the routeur, otherwise it will downgrade. (And we are talking about wireless, as the guy said it).

a good test to do is see how much you get at speed test with your comp attached to modem, then comp attached to router hard wired.

if its less than half the speed, you need a better router.

i was having a bunch of trouble with my router and wireless speeds were less than 1/5 of modem wired, then got a new one and its about 5/6 of predicted speed

so theres a few yes and a few no..

anyone have any like information that will help me lol
