if you are posting off-topic reply's compared to the post then yes he can bring a med in topic to give your warn, if told to stop by med and you keep doing it. Other then that you can post in his topic's all you want aslong as there on-topic with the posted topic you are replying it.

Besides the Basics (spam etc), there is nothing much that person can do, except say that you are banned from their thread.

Let us say you are on topic, and genuine reply... then he/she has no right to ban you from stating anything.

Everyone knows the Drill:
Trade: he is selling XX for XX amount... you post a bin... he can only be a dick and say: "not trading with you... you are banned", but in no way can he ban you from the topic
D2 Discussions: he is asking for advice about a build... you give him sound advice... he can only be a dick and say: "your comments are not welcome here as you are banned from my topics"
etc

There is no way you or anyone else get a warn based on the fact that he is being a dick.

I just want some straight out clarification. everyone's told me that if i'm harassing him (lol) then it's bad.

so:

if i spam, bad
if i 'harass', bad
if i post on topic, i'm allowed

correct?

yes, as long as you post on topic are are allow to post unless a med/trust tagged person personally tells you, that you cannot post in here. feel free to post in there.
