So my msn has been sending messages to random users lately (without me doing it ) ( this wasnt happening before )
I run avast! every few days and no threats has been found
Any suggestions ?

You may have logged on to a public computer with you account, and someone may have used it.

This is a virus, try to download some more Virus-programs there is a lot of free and nice programs out there.
here is a few:

- Avira Antivir
- AVG free
- Comodo

I don't know if this is free ot not, but try to google it: F-secure Client Security

I'm useing these programs, and they have kept my computer clean for some years now.

I had the same problem some years ago, when I used MSN, and my some of my friends had it aswell, but I hope it will help you to solve your problem, have a nice day

As an addition to Sometime's post, Malware Bytes is a great free scanner for unwanted programs.

If it's this ^, try using the option 'Log Out Everywhere'.

Otherwise if it is a virus, if you don't already have malwarebytes or spybot S&D, I'd recommend those.

google msn virus and there is a ton of people who have the same problem. Very common. Try changing your password. I know a few friends where simply that was enough to stop it.

Re install your machine to delete any unwanted corrupted data and system files.
