Hi all,

So today I got back from a week afk, and I tried logging into my Hotmail account and it says it's blocked because it got suspected of sending mass spam emails by me or someone else. Now I can get it back if I change the password, but I need a confirmation code which gets sended to an old email address I forgot the password of. What do I do? This is very important for me, I'm using the mail address for more than ten years so there's alot of personal and important stuff on it which I really can't lose. Thanks.

Get a mail account at gmx.com (for example) and import the email address.
Takes a little while to import everything, but when done, you'll have all mails.

Will it even import stuff when I can't access my mail?

Of course not.
You could import everyones personal data then.

Yeah, thought so too.. I contacted windows, hopefully they're helpful or will even respond.

If you can prove that it's yours, you'll get it back.
Not sure if you can get it back if you violated the rules.

Well all I did was checking my mail at vacation two times, maybe they found it suspicious cause of an IP address from all abroad?

Well there is your problem, unsecured wireless or not your own computer. = Your email/password was easily stolen and used for spammage.

Yay! I just got it back. Filled in a form to prove it's my account and I reset the password. And indeed it seems my mail was used for spam by someone else. Thanks all!
