A better video card

More people/effects/shadows etc means more stress on your video card.

You could turn all your settings to minimum if you haven't already.

Running WoW in OpenGL mode will probably increase your FPS.

- Open the World of Warcraft folder on your hard drive (Default Folder: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft).
- Open the WTF folder.
- Open the Config.wtf file using a text editor, like WordPad.
- Search for SET gxAPI "OpenGL"
If you do not see this line below you can add it manually.

A shitty walmart laptop will meet the minimum specs, if he can play the game that isn't the problem.

You need a new video card.

How much ram do you have?

systemrequirementslap is not a science, it is very vague and often wrong.

If you are below the minimum ram requirement, more ram will boost your FPS. Being below the minimum amount the boost with be noticeable.

1 gig is the minimum to run wow, if you run below that it's going to be a crappy experience.
GPU isn't that important. Wow is cpu intensive, even integrated graphics will be able to play wow but if your ram is below the minimum, you'll have problems.
