Recently my bro decided to play d2, since i only had 1 cd-key i decided to give him my current cd key and i ask a friend of mine to give me one, thing is now when i try to log on with that cd key i get the msg " This cd key has been disable from this realm blah blah blah.."

before u say the cd key is banned, i can assure you its not, why am i so sure? cuz my friends using it without a problem.

so, my question is why everytime i try to use a diff cd-key than my main one (which is registered on my battle.net acct) i got the error "This cd key has been disable from this realm blah blah blah.."

and excuse my english im not from the USA

Most likely if it is giving you that error message it is indeed banned or suspended and your friend was just using a different key.

Only other thing I can think of is the key being realm specific and he is using it on a different realm? but I don't think that is possible.

Try re-installing - you may have entered the CD keys incorrectly and accidentally entered a disabled one.

done this a couple times already.

Do you guys know if once a cd key is registered under a battle.net acct, such 16 digit cd key becomes invalid and the valid one would be the 26digit one?

if a cd-key becomes disabled and you switch it to a 26 cd key it still becomes disabled

same thing in the situation where if your d2 key is disabled, but the expansion isn't - it will still show up as disabled when you try to log in

both keys (26, or regular 16 character) must be open and not disabled to be able to connect

not saying its banned, im just asking if once u activate a game on ur battle.net acct, the new 26 digit cdkey replace the old 16 digit cdkey and making it invalid.

yes if you download it VIA the store and install it that way, the 26 character code makes the 16 digit one invalid
