I'd just like to express my displeasure in the fact that I'm forced to wait up to 24 hours on my first forum gold purchase. I was a little leery at first anyway, and now I feel full on regret. The money is already out of my account, so what more do you guys need?

Hello sir,

If it's the first time you have purchased forum gold, d2jsp must make some manually verifications.

You can have more details here : http://forums.d2jsp.org/info.php?p=1&l=0

I understand the directions. Since I payed with an instant EFT and it has already been posted out of my account I feel the wait is obscene. A simple explanation would be appreciated. Pointing to easily accessible information doesn't really help me much, but thank you for the reply.

It takes up to 72 hours because its your first time.

Its to make sure the money is YOURS (a check to make sure it wasnt stolen etc). Once it passes, you'll be good to go and get fg instantly when purchasing.

Please note that your first purchase will not be instant. Your payment will need to be manually validated for your first purchase, but after that you will be able to buy FG instantly and automatically at any point in the future by using the Purchase Gold page.

Taken from --> Purchase Forum Gold FAQ

It can take 5 mins - 72hrs to recieve you FG after its been purchased for the 1st time..... It all depends on when Njaguar's online and is able to validate you purchase

It's the same for everyone.... it took me 2 days to recieve mine, Plz be patient

I understand your feelings. But you must understand this wait is needed to make sure the founds and your account is your property.

How exactly would this forum know if the money is stolen? If someone steals the information needed to make an purchase using ETF, I can guarantee the account's bank would close the account and not allow it's customer to make a new one due to irresponsibility. In any case, it would be up to the victim of the identity theft to report said transactions, and even then merchants who received funds would not have to give the money back. The bank would take a loss.

The only possible reason I could see for a wait is if someone used a credit card for purchase, in which case the transaction can easily be returned. However, I used an instantaneous method of payment and so this does not apply. If an EFT would overdraft said bank account, the transaction would not go through unless a special agreement to pay was reached with a bank due to recent regulations that were passed concerning the service. Needless to say I feel this is a fault in the system.

You do not "have to donate"..... dont like how the admin run things? If I was you, spending real life money on virtual cash, Iwould definately would have read over the forum gold FAQ, intensively before sending my $$$ out, but that's just me.

This site is a privilege to be on.

instant methods of payment do "take" the money from your account right away but often do not deposit the funds to the receiver until the next business day... infact to my knowledge no money moves from either account until the next business day there for when it says that it has been taken from your account it is in actual fact only a pending transfer
