Ok. So ... obviously this account is beyond old. I've been a member for here a very very long time.

Problem with that is .. I don't use or have access to the email account I registered this account with. I can't for the life of me even remember which one I used as it has been so long.

I've tried PMing Paul in the past. Twice now, actually. First time was prolly 2-3 years ago. He wasn't able to help me. Second time .. he just ignored my PM completely.
I've tried PMing a few Admins / Mods now ... they haven't even tried to help. All they do is link me to the account recovery thing they have setup. Which would be fine cept for the fact that it .. NEVER .. works.
It keeps telling me it was rejected as it appears I already have access to my account. No shit? I've had access to my account since Nov 18th, 2004. What a a shocking revelation that was.

What exactly am I supposed to do here to get my email changed to the one I want? Anyone else have any insight into I can manage to actually accomplish this? Is seriously starting to aggravate me at this point being that it should be so simple and yet it has been everything but.

If the recovery feature didn't work properly for you, you can still try to contact the staff at the bottom of the page.

If you don't know what e-mail you used, and the recovery hasn't worked then you are probably out of luck. Best bet is to stop pming Paul and use the contact feature.

Ironically, I had a similar issue when i tried to recover my old email. Three attempts were denied due to the same response that you had, 'Your account is already recovered.'
What finally worked for me? I clearly stated in my last recovery that i was and have been in ownership of this account ever since it was made and I was only looking to change my old email address, which I had forgotten. Also, be sure to add as many specific details as you can; tracked topics, purchases of orbs and their dates, etc.

Rage? Hardly. You have no idea how obnoxious this is. If you aren't going to be helpful why even bother posting? I just want to be able to actually use my account fully. It takes them 7-10 days to get back to you about account recovery stuff and I've been rejected every time. I've done it 3 or 4 times now. That's 3-4 weeks or more of just waiting for nothing. Account is worth a whole lot more to me than a few dollars.

Thanks to the rest of you for actually trying to help me out. I do appreciate it. Hopefully the contact ticket I filled out will be able to help me out this time around.

I have. 3 or maybe 4 times now. It has gotten rejected every single time, sadly. I don't know what I'd have to list in a recovery ticket to actually get it to be successful compared to what I've done. I've given as much info as I possibly can every single time and I get no love.

I don't want to just keep spamming it every week until it works. I'd prefer to just talk to an actual person, like you or one of the other moderators, and get it sorted out finally. So frustrating.

There is no other way to recover the account.
If it would be too easy, everyone could recover any account - so you bsically have to prove that it's actually your account.
