Hey guys just tried installing diablo 2 on my macbook pro and it crashes everytime I go to open the game after it is installed.
Anyone else have this problem? I may have to just install it on windows.

There's a fix for the Mac version if you're not using it. Google it

awesome, I am running windows 7 ult on the same system, it would just be more convenient to have the game in the mac partition of the drive

Does it crash once you click on the icon? Or after installation.

Well it installs, and gets to the point where it says installation is complete, once you go to launch the game, the diablo 2 exe it crashes imediately everytime

Try installing without the disks , Use the blizzard site , If you want i can grab you the link too it.

blizzard site is what I used, I do not have access to my discs, as I do not live at home anymore.

Have you tryed contacting blizzard support for more information on the issue?

I haven't done that yet, I browsed google for a while, finding issues with older mac os, there hasn't been much good information going around
it seems as though the fixes arn't worth doing, I just posted here assuming other mac users play d2 and would be a better resource.
