k so i have a SoundMAX superbeam headset mic

it always workd on vent with my other computer
but my old computer is getting windows reloaded onto it so im using a spare computer



i basicly did what i did with my old computer with this headset (put the cords in and talked = success)

but this computer it goes out super staticy and no1 on vent can hear me

all my settings are set correct but nothing

any help?

Might be an issue with the soundcard.

Fiddle around with settings and hope for the best.

if you have ipod earbuds they can be used as a mic on vent...earbuds dont need to have the little mic thing on the headphones i used this methoud for a while before i got my headset and it worked just fine. plug the earbuds into the mic jack and turn your outbound on vent all the way up as well as your sound card options (right click on the little speaker on your start menu. and what windows are you running? feel free to pm me if u have further questions
