Hello. I recently moved and am now using a Windstream DSL Modem. For some reason, EVERY Starcraft game is incredibly laggy. Before the game even starts, when I choose my race, it takes like 10 seconds to switch my race. When the game starts, it's incredibly laggy at first, then the countdown for someone to drop begins. EVERY time it's me that's dropped and it's within the first MINUTE of the game. Keep in mind that I have ONE green bar as far as lag goes and my download speeds are great.

Please help!

Would I need to open the ports on my modem or just my router?

The ports are now forwarded correctly, but now I can't join ANY games. I tested the ports online to see if my ports were open and they are open. Now EVERY game has 6 red lag bars and when I try to join, my latency is too high.

Double check to make sure you opened the ports correctly.

Go to portforward.com and find starcraft, it may give you better assistance.
