Diablo 1.13 Update. - Topic

Hello everybody.

I have downloaded my Diablo off http://us.blizzard.com/store/ and now when i try and update to test realm 1.13 it says

The program was unable to create a file
File name: E:\Diablo II\BNClient.DLL and E:\Diablo II\Patch.txt
Error: Access Denied

Any fixes to this problem yet?

This patch upgrades Diablo II Lord of Destruction from version 1.09d to version 1.10.

ERROR: unable to get write permission on file 'E:\Diablo II\Bnclient.dll'
Access is denied.

RESULT: Patch failed

dunno why it says 1.09d to version 1.10, since its already 1.12.

try to download the patch manually
and look at the settings of the file about the "write permission" stuff. i dunno much about it but you might have to uncheck something there ( sorry for these very vague info but its all i know about that

)

dont download 1.13 patch it downloads automatically when u enter the realm

This is most likley caused because instead of patching to (E:\Diablo II\patch.txt) it may be patching to (C:\Diablo II\patch.txt)
Another cause could be that the downloaded downloaded to C:\Diablo II\patch.txt instead of E:\Diablo II\patch.txt

Check this with 'E:\Diablo II\Bnclient.dll' as well

thats what i did darkholder03, and thats when i got the error.

Where can i get the patch manually? and i already checked with the write permission.

emxiaks - my diablo folder is E: not C:

Yes, I know. But there may be a problem in the registry where it thinks it should patch in the C:\ drive (or the patch downloaded to the C drive so when you try to open it, it can't find it)
if you don't have a C drive then it could cause the same error with the first thing I said.

You can only recieve the beta patch from the current system.

Only full tested patchs will be able to be downloaded manually.
