yeah but a large sheild is considered heavy not light. it wont work dude. but don't belive me if you dont want to.

You can evade with a large shield.

If it's not Mithril you'll have armor dex penalty.

I figured evade would work with a large shield or even a tower for that matter.

Compendium lists large shields as having no max dex bonus. I suppose it could be wrong.

I meant that you'll have a skill check penalty with a non mithril shield.

mithril might work, further testing might be needed to see the effects in action. never seen it actually done. fighter armor bonus dex bonus increase dose not effect shields. pallys do get tower shield feat w/o taking it.

going to look in to this, ask some of my guildies and make up test builds.

Paladins don't get tower shield prof for free, fighters do.

Paladins prestige class (defender of siberys) gets +max dex to tower shields.

ok not a pally expert. clerics are my fortay

Robe
Armored Bracers until the Dragon robe is available
Large Shield or Tower? I think we may be restricted to tower.

What feats? Weapon finesse for the dex build I'd think.

What Cha is required on a paly? Can we maybe sub out some cha for str?
