Here I try to compile tips and tricks that I learned and used for all dungeons. There is a post on reddit, but that is too general. Here I am going to be specific regarding the mains that I play to let you know exactly what to do.

Disclaimer: I am not a pro by any means. But after 2 weeks of trying OV, I am confident that I won't be a hindrance to my party, and often carry especially on my main Ele.


I currently have:

F. Ele (Main)
Sword Master (Main)
F. Brawler (Assist, probably the best one you can possibly have)


I am going to post what I do on my ele. It's been pretty good so far. Feel free to add your own tips and tricks, or let me know what I missed or what would be better if you know something i don't know.

My build: Ice walls maxed and TP maxed. Arctic burst maxed and TP maxed. Void maxed and TP maxed. Lightning maxed and TP maxed. Pretty much ALL T3s+ maxed EXCEPT black hole, which is an SP dump.


WHAT I DO ON MY ELE


Goblin Kingdom

Room 1: group mobs with black hole, then blow all your cooldowns, there won't be anything to do in the next room anyways.

Room 2: just stand in the lower right corner of the room. If you see that the feeder is going to miss, just ice walls to protect everyone.

Room 3: CHARGE YOUR ARCTIC BEFORE ENTERING THIS ROOM. then place your arctic so that it hits all of the goblins that are on the trees. After, just spam ice walls + void off CD. Do not cube in this room.

Room 4: Unleash all of your spells and go all out. there won't be anything to do in the next room anyways.

Room 5: Icewalls maxed and TP maxed blocks explosion. 3 oil flasks each + flame bomb

Boss: Wait for the boss to run to your side of the wall. After, use junk spin assist, and unleash everything, including ur awakening


Castle Nebulous

Room 1: Do arctic to clear mobs. then after, use voidcano + black hole to clear other ones. After those are on cooldown, you can get stabbed, and then rinse and repeat.

Room 2: F mages + gunners usually get aggro. If you have aggro, you can still help with your long range lightning. If you have a crusader, what you are going to do is charge black hole before entering the room, and group them up so the sader can hammer all of them all at once so they don't heal. then you just freely unleash all your spells.

Room 3: YOUR ICE WALLS DOES NOT BLOCK THE LIGHTNING. you can only cheese this room if you have a crusader with healing wind, or nen master nen guard. If you are going to cheese, you charge up your black hole in the room before, and then lay a voidcano right on top and then follow with arctic burst.

Room 4: NO CUBES. spam icewall + void. these do insane dmg.

Room 5: NO CUBES. spam ice wall + void.

Boss: Unleash all your spells. Unleash hell of loli.


Rangelus' Guerillas

Room 1: Arctic should be enough

Room 2: Try to avoid stunning or freezing the boss, this momentarily prevents him from summoning his minions. Just use everything else like voidcano + black hole.

Room 3: Arctic

Room 4: This room is rather flexible. I just lay my voidcano plus other spells until he summons his minions that shoot the whole screen. Just run to the top of the map, and use lightning to hit him while avoiding dmg. Rinse and repeat

Room 5: Arctic

Boss: Just lay down all your spells, use your junk spin. just pay attention to whether the g4 thingy is on you and don't run and don't attack if it is. Just follow regular gimmick protocol and you should be fine. If you get a good party, you can kill him before he even initiates his 1st phase


Void Rift

Room 1: Arctic

Room 2: If you are first in your party, it's a little tough. Magic missile helps a lot in this room if you are. Otherwise, just void + black hole the mobs away from the boxes to make it easier for your other party members

Room 3: Junk spin before he jumps. Layer all of your dmg and he will die.

Room 4: Kill the wisps asap when they spawn. Otherwise, just do regular loli ele thingies and unleash hell

Room 5: CHARGE YOUR ARCTIC BEFORE ENTERING THIS ROOM. AS SOON AS THEY SPAWN YOU CAN AT LEAST GET THE TOP 2 MOBS IN THEIR PLATFORM. if you are fucking pro, u can get all 4. I still have a hard time getting all 4 at once, it's very tricky but getting the top 2 is easy, and it makes it super easy. Once the top two are in their platforms, cancel your arctic imeediately, and use black hole + lightning to get the others.

Boss: Pretty straight forward. For the 2nd phase, here's a really useful tip that will make you look pro. PAY ATTENTION TO THE CORNERS. ONCE YOU HAVE THE CORNERS MEMORIZED, THE PATTERN CAN ONLY TAKE ONE ROUTE.


Castle of Bakal

Room 1: Arctic

Room 2: CHARGE YOUR VOIDCANO BEFORE ENTERING. UNLEASH VOIDCANO BEFORE THE GUY STARTS MOVING (approx. 1 second). just use void + ice wall after, NO CUBES. Follow the other gimmicks

Room 3: If you have the curse aura, make sure the boss is AWAY from the minions. if you hit the boss, you kill your whole party. Use void AWAY from the boss and AT the minions. once those die, kill the boss with void + ice wall. NO CUBES UNLESS U CAN COORDINATE WITH YOUR TEAM (the guy has a CD on his cube counter)

Room 4: CHARGE BLACK HOLE, and place it on the middle minion when they spawn. Follow with voidcano + shining fence wall and kill those evil numaks asap and THEN proceed to get rid of his pillars.

Room 5: YOUR VOID CARRIES THE GUY TOWARDS THE RIGHT. USE THIS!!!! after, just spam void + ice walls off CD. ICE WALL IS GOD IN THIS ROOM. YOU CAN ATTACK BELOW THE Y-AXIS AND IT DOES INSANE SINGLE BURST

Boss: Junk spin + unleash hell. if you can't kill the boss before he lifts off, just follow gimmick. ALWAYS STAY IN THE MIDDLE AFTER EACH PHASE. HE ONLY FALLS DOWN ON THE OPPOSITE ENDS OF THE ROOM ONLY


Dark Side

Room 1: Arctic

Room 2: unleash hell. follow gimmick

Room 3: CHARGE VOIDCANO BEFORE ENTERING THIS ROOM. voidcano + shining fence + void will shatter his armor immediately

Room 4: Tricky. This most likely depends on your team. Best if someone could lock her down before entering her invulnerability and burst her down while juggling and staggering stuns

Room 5: Gold = stay together. Gray = stay apart, for the coins. If gold, just stay with the team, void + shining fense + void. If gray, stay far, lightning + arctic for long range damage. STAY AWAY FROM HIS Y-AXIS BECAUSE THATS THE ONLY WAY HE CAN POSSIBLY DMG U

Boss: CHARGE YOUR VOIDCANO BEFORE ENTERING THIS ROOM. How you skip betrayal is that you shatter his armor ASAP and then follow up with a stun. What I do is voidcano + shining fence + void to shatter his armor, AND THEN follow up with a junk spin to skip this phase. The general rule is either count to 7 before using stun, but what you do is wait for your team to shatter his armor, and stun him while his blue bar is being charged. WATCH OUT FOR WHEN HE USES THE DARK PILLAR THINGY THAT SHIT HURTS

also something that's been bothering me

Room 5 of Bakal, cube are allowed right? it's only knockdowns, stuns, freezes, other crowd control that are not allowed? correct me if im' wrong. i feel like voidcano would be amazing here if allowed.

yea pretty much if you knock him down or freeze him, he has quick rebound on zero cooldown.

update:

icewalls does block room 3 nebulous

you can nuke, but it's a little less reliable than nen guard. definitely need to gruop the mobs and make sure the lightnings don't come at long intervals



nifty tricks for paladins, you can use your hammer in room 2 void rift. hit the boss to debuff him, and guide him to hit one of the reflect cubes. he will kill himself.

hammer also works on room 2 nebulous. prevents healing. you need someone to group them up.
