I have no idea why, most launchers dislike this skill. To me, it's a great source of damage, out damages styer with just 6-7 hits(lv50 cap, assuming both are maxed), access to Y-axis, greatly immobilize mobs for teammate; great move to use after quantum, keep the mobs in place and triggers electrocution; and great combo starter in pvp.
While the skill description says multi-hit interval for both genders are 0.3sec, it's definitely wrong for females. Males do 10hits to a single target in 3 seconds(0.3sec/hit), females do 10hits to a single target in 2.5 seconds(0.25sec/hit). Damage and hit-stun are the same, females might have a smaller hit box, can't confirm.
Styer:
Am I the only one who disagree that female styer is superior? Many people say females have a less chance to miss since it hits 3times, but same can be said in males' favorite, males have a less chance to miss part of it since it hits once. It's pretty much equal at the end in this respect.
Raw damage wise, females does more damage. But in the real dungeon, males will do more damage, simply because it has a 150% exploding range instead of females' 100%. It's so easy to hit a group of mobs for full damage for males, while females can only do partial damage to things that are just little bit far away.
In pvp, male styer can be followed up with other skills due to its delayed explosion, but can be guarded. Females do a bit higher damage and can't be guarded, but harder to follow up.
Nonetheless, this skill should still be maxed for both genders.
Note to non-launchers having this skill: unlike most other skills, this skill has its own weapon-draw time(another one being gatling). Lv1 is 0.4secs, jumps to 0.3secs at lv2, and stays at 0.3secs for a long time. So it might be worth it to lv it to 2 even though it costs 60 SP.
Fire pillar:
Haven't got this skill on my F launcher yet, but for male it's 20hits in 5seconds(0.25sec/hit). If females hit at 0.2sec/hit, for a duration of 4seconds, then they win on this again.
Stinger/lancer:
Females' seems much better, but still doesn't seem to be worth lving, homing might make this worthwhile depending on how well it works.
Other skills seem to be exactly the same.
A question: does aspd affect how fast you cast things like quantum, extruder, satellite, ancient trigger? Seems like it does affect quantum and satellite but can't tell on extruder and no idea about ancient trigger.
