Its like Knuckles, Boxing Gloves, Claws and Gauntlets.

Also Tonfas are fine for brawlers.

nen - knuckle
grappler - gauntlet
striker - boxing or gauntlet
brawler - claw

nn tonfa unless it has GFG mods

You're right. If you had to decide, which one do you think would be a good character to play: mStriker or mBrawler with the +12 level 45 weapons.

Everything I've read says you should use Tonfas for fixed, and claws for percentage.

Or maybe it was the other way around. One of those.

i dont know anything about male fighters at all

and ive never made a brawler, but i have a lvl 55 female striker

strikers are really powerful, but their eat a ton of mana so you want to be really conscious on grouping monsters together and then using your big attacks

as for male brawler

i skimmed through a few skills and if im reading this correctly on this japanese site (using google translate)

it appears male brawlers are mostly fixed damage (meaning +12 weapon will not effect your damage very little) meaning the only way to increase your damage is through strength or intelligence stat, or getting special items that increase "base physical/magic attack"

but if you really want my opinion between the two of which you should make, i recommend the striker. male brawler looks boring as fuck.

get yourself the level 60 boxing glove that inflicts light damage, and a few aracloso cards for your accessories (or get the pink gloves that give a different element and whatever cards you want)

your top priority is your weapon imo.

get a +10 at least

once you're done with all other upgrades for your char, (decent accessories, adv avatars with emblems [emblems right now are extremely expensive, wait for another avatar sundering event], armors [leave armor at +0])

then you can go back and try and get better than a +10 weapon (just make sure you have enough money to buy/make yourself another +10)

Female is not nearly as good for farming (brawlers)They do lack the ability to run ancients very well, but they make up for it with farming and pvp :3
