Not true. Chapter 2 journal and continued on requires delivering 10 warband chests, which can only be obtained from an active warband party while farming. The game also lets it be known very clearly that warband parties offer a further increase to drop rates so, you can find 4 cooperative people are given times, you can effectively get increased drops and war chests will unlock random legendary or set pieces that can be borrowed, including yourself. Theres much more benefits to warband than just the raids.
My clan is top 3 on the server and we have just implemented and exercising fluid warbands so people can be added or removed according to who's online.

oh yes sure, that 10 chest requirement is ridiculous and insane though

Yea my clan is top 3 (#2) in our server. We are organizing a strategic method to gather up the best 300 after we overthrow the immortals this sunday. We are purposely placing a junk shadow 3 clans in immortal place and poaching over current immortals into our shadows now 300 coalition and next 3 weeks we will overthrow again and reign as top 300 players on the server for a permanent reign until server merge which under my prediction will be on d4 release day.

Man I'm glad I'm not on your server, thats some great planning and iniative.

I'm an immortal without even trying, play casually, just have a high enough level/cr and do immortal things while my clan organizes everything
