Does anyone know of any comprehensive guides that are out there for charms?

The entire system seems extremely complicated and I have no idea where to begin

you need to upgrade charms to rank 5 and then you can make it into a skill stone and put on the marketplace or imbue it to your current charm to try and get the skill you want

to upgrade you need alchemical powder and you get that you need to salvage charms

so, you salvage useless charms for the powder, upgrade the charm you want with the skill u need like crossbow shot % damage for dh for example.... and when you find another charm with useful skill like multishot for dh for example... you can make it a skill stone; put on marketplace or imbue it into your current crossbow shot charm replacing a skill on the charm... tho keep in mind its pretty much a lottery so there is a chance of not getting the skill you want.. cause when you upgrade charms they get a random skill and the randomness is applied to the charms being imbued

Upgrade it to level 5 to hopefully get more skills you want, then convert to skill stone

Then imbue it only your existing charm to try to get the right skill on. So it's random but you get to choose if you want to accept or decline the change?

Even better is to get one with 3 or more skills on it

Preferably use a charm with the first skill you need as your base. If you roll with more than 1 skill, you came out really good. Any charms with 2 skill of any class automatically worth like 2000 plat. If you end up rolling 1 all per class charm, extract the stone, and sell it. Can prob get at least 1500 for it. I'd say any rolls on a charm with 3+ skill of a class is worth the max 2500 selling on market. Dont extract a charm you're planning on using, obviously. Up to you if you want to gamble the 20% chance on a 1 skill stone but as 20% is pretty obvious, the chances are you will not get it. So you can weigh your options of selling 1500 or taking your chances on a roll. I will usually buy 20% skill stones if they're 1500 or less. Especially if it's a skill I really need.
