Everyones complaining about the money pit. Yes I agree 100% if you want to be top arena you have to spend the $$. Just like every other Mobile game. But im Loving the game so far, level paragon 5, only have purchased the battle pass. I'm a long time d2 and d1 player. But I also play a lot of mobile games.. this one is set up just like every other. The game is designed like every diablo game. To play it for what it is. Grind get the loot and progress .Should take way longer then a few days to be endgame fully geared with all the best shit.. BUT if you don't want to do this then yes spend 110k..
I read this article today and it took the words out of my mouth.
Immortal faced backlash for the same reasons that the western audience reacted so strongly to Genshin Impact. It has a PC port, and it’s high-quality enough to disguise its mobile-first approach. But that doesn’t change that these games were made for a very different gamer in mind. So there’s no need for PC and console players to feel threatened by Immortal. Blizzard is angling for a much bigger fish—the mobile community that already represents the gaming majority.
In what way is this game set up like Diablo 2 for example? Because Diablo 3 is not a real diablo game. It's a self-found, account bound, no trading economy no PVP piece of crap. Diablo Immortal is the exact same piece of crap with the only difference that it has some kind of PVP(trash as fuck) and you can only really do it in a meaningful way if you spend the big $$$. And I don't mind spending hunders and even thousands of $ on a game. I mean I've spent almost 3k$ on skins in CoD mobile. I've spent 1,2k$ on mtx in PoE. But none of those give you an advantage where you can defeat players who are better than you at the game. They don't give you any in-game power. So on what way is Diablo Immortal or Diablo 3 the same like Diablo 2(the true diablo game)? an online arpg without the trading aspect of it is no arpg. And please don't bring the diablo immortal marketplace into this. It's an absolute joke...
