Okay so i'm really confused, because i have now completed everything with the helliquary up to the point where i killed the lassal flame demon thingy majig for the first time and the internet tells me i need to go to cains workshop basement once ive done that to talk to rayek as he is no longer by the red portal thing in order to get my buffs or w/e from completing it for the first time and every time after that.

problem is the door to cain's workshop basement thing is shut and in all the videos i have seen its just an open doorway with no shut door in the way, i cant open it and i cant find rayek anywhere else, what am i missing here?
