end-game in reference to these cry babies all point to being #1 IN THE WORLD or #1 pvp. Everything people are crying about is the Legendary Gems, which are obtainable through the quest line (no theyre not tier 4 and 5 BUT WHO CARES) and even crests are given on a free daily basis. My gear already has tier 2 legendary gems socketed and i paid $0. Im also level 55 and i STILL haven't paid a single penny.
Tell me one person who built a dueler on d2 that DIDNT pay for an inventory of 3/20/20s? Whether it be from d2sjp trading paying with FG (which theoretically holds USD value, someway, somehow) or buying them outright, with cash, from a website. The only "end-game" content youre gonna miss is being on the leaderboards, and in reality, unless youre a no-lifer or ready to spend money to get there, youre not gonna be at that point anyways. The only reason people are bashing the game is because 95% of the time they have no job, dont make enough money, find EVERYTHING wrong with EVERYTHING, or just a child, or a combination of the choices.
It all boils down to this: play the game or dont. If you don't like the game, stop trying to recruit because YOURE miserable. Its sad 50% of the community is just people crying. How do you define the term: P2W? Pay to WIN? I don't know, because I haven't paid anything and I win every time I play.
Try the game or don't. I'm approaching level 60 soon which is "end-game" and i have yet to find a "pay wall" (some cry baby must have invented that word; dumbest thing i ever seen)
