Yeah I totally agree. Fundamentally i dont care about the pay to win microtransactions. Its just a complete fail that you can't trade directly among players. Said another way, the main failure of it is that we can't use our preferred currency of fg and, as you said, the money just goes to blizzard and it isn't liquid like fg is. Being able to stash it for years and come back to play another game while using the fg you grinded from a previous game, etc.
My biggest point is games favoring the rich over other people. Some people have disabilities and major health bills. They cannot afford to buy orbs or passes every month. That's why I hate this system. Microtransactions are a thing of the past i feel like and are slowly being phased out, but then we have this game come along and ask us to hold their beer. >_<
