Yea I am aware. What I am meant to say the gambling and exploitative marketing industries are becoming so intrusively toxic that game design is built around it over the actual game.

The 10k spent and 10% warn had me wondering if my phone was glitching it was repeated so much lol...

The game p2w or pay for a slight advantage aside, the reviews alone of the micro transactions and leveling walls on the way to 60/battle pass or limited play is massive for turning away players.

I played beta, saw it clearly tops out as set to be pay for advantage/p2w which I found to be a huge turn off.

Buuuut there's literally no other phone games I've found to be enjoyable lately sooo downloading it now and gonna just enjoy it for what it is. D2, d1 weren't that much different, the enjoyable aspect was face rolling huge groups etc and it was monotonous as hell to most people looking in. Play it or don't, pay or don't - I don't see anyone say blizz is still good or the same great set of devs, we all know they have lost credibility and are trying to cash in on nostalgic IP.

That's a great way to explain it, I remember when the first major mobile games made waves with the amount of money they brought in; they were exposed/proud to their investors that they actually hire gambling addiction specialists/psychologists (with no morals apparently) to be a massive influence on the game creation and paywalls.

Either you spend some and slowly get roped in by design to keep spending (internal value placed on what's already spent plus time) or you make sure you don't even buy that 1.99 big upgrade package for newbies on a timer.

I can see them doing this, studying how to get people addicted...sad world we live in.

doesnt cost that much for maxing leggo gems ive spent 24$ and have lvls 6-9 leggo gems in all slots get leggo crests find a better gem sell in market depending stars 50-312k platium per buy lower 1s 800plat per ish at lvl5 + need points +1 of same each big 1 i sold was able lvl 2 gems if play the market super cheap and simple also can farm libary h2- h3 sell basic gems upgraded for tons works just as well

whats really sad is they are looking to hire more master manipulators for Diablo 4 shop...
