I don't know, in my opinion, in Diablo 2 the "poorest" can farm and find very good items for their set or sell and improve theirs, but in DI, you just can't do that, if you were to find a gem 5 stars, you would never manage to upload it. so for me the competitive is very uneven.

they are simply two very different games to compare for pvp

just try to have fun with your friends and spend time on discord after a day of work

It actually doesn't make sense to buy platinum because if the 3 star gem was worth 60k platinum at a regular sale rate, selling it for 80k (max) only yields 20k platinum. It's a false sense of idea you're actually gonna purchase 80k platinum in that scenario.

doesn't matter if it makes sense or not. game is filled with bot spam just as much as a game with free reign with trading.. lmao

What bot spam has anything to do with anything, I dont know. Just because people offer a service or sale doesn't mean it sells. Nobody will buy platinum after they figure out what they have to do to get it.

if game companies want to collect black market money by monatizing their game in such a way that is their right and im fine with it

they tried it with d3 auction house and the cry babies got that removed even thought it was a valid trade system where players could profit and blizzard took a cut

the new systems are the worst because no one can profit and blizzard takes everything

theyve removed the essence of diable which was the game within the game - trading - that made d2 a sucess because the combined stupidity of the mob combined with whales became the basis for their game development rip
