Sorry to break it to you but the "p2w" is here and this generation. Game developers are trying to find ways to justify spending thousands and 100s of thousands to MAKE a game. They also are greedy and want to park a new Maserati in their mansion's 5 car garage.
It's the way things are and you either combat it by never playing it or their franchise EVER again or you can play it and just don't spend money on it. Crying about it, is not an option but apparently it's what most people think will combat the issue. It will NEVER fix it. Your energy will be best spent just getting over it because look how much energy you spend wasting here?
And yet no matter what gun you buy in Fortnite, if you suck at the game, you're still never going to reach the top ranks. Meanwhile Diablo Immoral, you sell your house. Get all the max gems and you can hang out with the other Moby Dicks, but if you don't have the cash... well have fun with the rest of the scum in the f2p bracket. 0 skill involved.
