The 2 hour intervals make no sense. In fact, most things about time based intervals make no sense. Condense it to day time work hours if you must. It's a stupid concept that really have no legitimate explanation other than forcing people to play certain modes at certain times.

If they wanted to have more people active on those times, it would have made sense to condense servers so there weren't a hundred of them on literally all hours of the globe. Imagine splitting the player base into that many servers but then complaining about inactivity on certain modes. Furthermore, you're overlapping popular modes together so you're forced to choose which ones you play during those 2 hour intervals.

Whoever came up with these ideas are morons.

The people that came up with these ideas are to maximize profits. Not to pro.ote gameplay. Weird huh?

The thing is . It's blizzard / activision and we all know they won't make this game free for nothing. Since they're a Corp company . So anytime they can make money they will. Just like cod etc

The timeless unspoken rule till the human race dies out: always prioritize the agenda where you get ahead before others. Or in layman's terms, there will always be poor people, so might as well not be one.

Compared to this, CoD mobile wasn't pay to win. You had cringy ass skins and dances, but the game itself let you access guns based on gameplay or seasonal rewards.

Yes a prime example of how a mobile game can have big monitizarion without the P2W element.

For a mobile game, it wasn't a p2w garbage since the guns themselves were accessible to anyone and everyone who just played the game. Even with Activision Blizzard's greedy fingers, f2p players can still compete, and the company makes millions from the app. Not sure why Diablo Immortal couldn't take that approach, except with the fact that they partnered with P2W trash company NetEase.

It's simple. They could have but chose not to. It was a risk but as you can see you have poor f2pers defending the business model

Couldn't they, at least for the sake of the Diablo name, given us a bone and let us f2p players play the game without it being f2p? If CoDM and PuBG makes millions and truly showcases skill vs money, then I'm sure the geniuses behind DI could have made it that way without compromising profits on their end.

Yes, they could have, but somehow there's a disconnect between making millions with a trash game vs making millions with a good one.
