This is so easy for them to fix. But they won't until the player levels get low enough to where they introduce the change in a new "content patch".

The money for the developers must have been good. I can't imagine implementing that and feeling ethical about it.

Are you saying this because it has happened to you or are you assuming this? Pretty sure if you had a skin on your base character, you wont carry over the skin to the new change, but if you change back, everything you originally had will be there. Now if you change, buy a new skin, and change back, of course you lose the skin.

I think it's somewhat fair considering you're even allowed to change a character in the first place. It would be like having 2 characters. Each has to have its own skins anyways if you were playing 2 separate characters.

One thing I dislike and is what keeping me from ever changing is the fact I have to regain the essences again from the legendary. The true double whammy is changing to a new class and having to re-farm the legendarys. Not only are you halting your upgrades on your original account because you'll be having to extract new legendarys but you have to refarm all those again. Than again, now that i mentioned it, it would be as if you just had 2 separate characters anyways. Seems somewhat fair to me but in a perfect world, you'd only be having to put in the time once and pay once. That doesn't seem to be the case for a game that wants infinite revenue. Must say, they spent quite a bit of time thinking about how to maximize their pay check with the moves they make. They sure the hell don't work out the kinks and bugs first, though.

i figured but the fact i have to refarm the legendarys again on a class change, is what makes me NEVER want to do it. I just hit 102 paragon and i have barely upgraded 2x level 12 of my gear. Barely. So to change class and start extracting more legendarys that i already lack the salvaged upgrade material for, would further push me behind for my level. That will be the true horror for some in the future. I don't want to be stuck having level 11 gear when im paragon 200 lol

yeah refarming the legendaries sounds absolutely horrible. It'll be forever before you can put together a meta build and yeah because it stalls your upgrading you lose out on that CR

I retained my cosmetics when reverting back so tis true.
