whales are a term for the big spenders on mobile/gaccha games, they are basically the target audience for these kinda games
average user will spend minimal amounts, $0 or $10 here and there, "dolphins" may spend like $100+ or a few hundo, whales spend 1000+, or even $10k-$100ks. These numbers arent exact, obv, just off the top of my head
whales generally make 99% of the profit for these games, and is the reason these games are always so profitable. I wanna say this game is going to tank and b garbage, but judging from the in game chat, there's unfortunately a lot of folks in severe denial over how pay2win this game is, and are comfortable spending a lot to play it
