The losing mvp (whale) has a rank 3 5 star legendary, and 3x 4 star rank 4s. Not sure someone can break that down as far as $. I can't even rank 2 my 2 star Legendary because I need MORE legendaries to upgrade just the 1. I cant even pretend to guess the money equivalent to the upgrade costs. Not gonna try

Hes paragon 46. I'm paragon 39. I was way down on the list because truthfully I have switched to a more defensive/support role as f2p you cant face tank a whale. Not even remotely close. I shoulda screened his attributes but he prob has 76k health compared to my about 36k. I was way down on the list, something like 2/0/16. 2 kills 16 assists but no deaths. I play a very passive long range "poke" fighting noe with almost all controls. Knock backs and blinds and all is doable from a poke distance. Very effective for me lately. Its bronze for everyone cause the new pvp recycled this week. Gotta start all over in rank

yes, it is a p2w game, but you can do reasonably well as f2p or close to it.

my game stats so far:
purchases: $5 battle pass, $1 for a 60 orb + 1 legendary crest (only got a 1 star) = $6 total

paragon level: 66, (currently 10 levels above server level) i end each day at 11 levels above (20% xp)
combat rating : 1890

have soloed up to challenge rift 60, as a barbarian. higher in party.

granted, i'll always be behind the whales, but it is not impossible to be reasonably sized.
just takes time + willing to sell gems and charms for platinum to get your gems


(i may end up spending some in the future, but for now have been pretty conservative on it)

You can't sell gems without spending money

sure you can. legendary gems for 1-5 star recipe for runes. but i wasnt referring to that.

i am referring to rubies, citrine etc. ive made around 55k selling those and the skill stones from charms so far.

i dont sell legendary gems, they are the single most valuable thing to someone who doesnt spend on that game much. needed to rank stuff up.

my 1 and only *nice gem* is a blessed of the worthy 3 star. used those gems, and bought it for 46k platinum
(granted its still rank 1)
