Paragon's Path is great when you are high level, crests and scoria galore.

imagine giving $15 to a multi-billion dollar company for the illusion of a stronger character. all while monster dmg and hp scale to your level

No, it's not.
Not even close

You need crests and / or platinum to have a chance on x/5 star gems for either using them or upgrading other gems you can easily get. That's the only thing that matter when it comes to using money.
The battle pass has 2 legendary crests for $4.99


path and trove are smiliar value with $1 for 1 crest



Also you need some orbs if you ever want to awaken your gear. Can't get that with the battle pass either.
So it's again a waste of money.
I'm super disappointed by the battle pass. Only good thing is it's not $10 bucks. That would've been a complete rip off

Yes but legendary crests aren't the only thing with value.
If you run fervent fang this is one of the only few sources for this gem.
Keys / Gems / Scoria are also valuable.

But you can easily get them just playing.
Legendary crests and x/5 star gems, not.

Also if you don't spend additional money, you won't upgrade your fervent fang very far anyways. So the one or now 2 from the free tier is more than enough

I think people underestimate the daily gems from party farming and throwing them on the market, tourmalines and everything. You can easily get 20 gem power a week just from that.
