Yea unfortunately despite what they claim, the matchmaking system is NOT matching you with similiar gear. I am consistently being matched against whale after whale game.

Well of course not. The whales enjoy not having any competition.

Honestly, it gets slightly frustrating when you're paired with bunch of people who are not focused on the objectives and too busy running around doing nothing. Than they stick 2-3 whales on the other team. The combination of all this leads to an absolute domination. That or a full team of monks and necros. The controls are disgusting when they pair them all together. One team I literally couldn't do ANYTHING because they were knocking me up, slowing me, stunning me, and rinse and repeat, over and over. They weren't whales; just very coordinated as a team. Won't even go there with the people who join ONLY to afk.

You can have a f2p full coordinated team lose to 1 whale.

No. Actually I've won quite a fair bit of games with only 1 whale. Since there is 2 sides of the map, he can't be in 2 places at once. We just ran our zealot and he kept getting piled by like 4 people. I know he was mad cause his team were morons. This was in Gold 2.

Battlegrounds just reset for the week so I'm back to bronze and holy crap. These guys are like a walk in the park again. Not even fun or challenging.

This will change nothing to your thought process and you prob don't know what you're looking at. Guy is a massive whale. Not a "minnow". Anyone can clarify this. Our mvp is a f2p player. They still lost. Severely.
