But that's just how it is in pretty much every game really. RMT'ing BiS gear on d2 won't guarantee that I'll win the duel, but the odds are better than if I hadn't RMT'd etc., that's what people mean by p2w
The difference is blizz is directly encouraging RMT in immortal whereas in other diablo games they're not - you have to go through third parties and shit, so blizz isn't responsible

I understand and let those that want to spend, spend. Theoretically speaking yes, if a paragon 20 crusader vs an exact replica in level and skill, the paid gear is always superior. Now you have to factor in skills used and how effective you hit or miss. If let's say the paid player is only 60% effective, he will be punished for that but a more effective player.
It's fun. I love pvp I just dont like the limited play time. Even so, it gives me time to float around to do daily stuff and interact with my clannies and warband.
