I so far think the game is fun. It doesn't feel like Diablo aside from semi dark maps and character names. Story is meh, maps are large and cluttered compared to the simple isolation you felt in the other games. But it has the character progression feel, and there's enough to move around where you aren't just stuck in one spot.

The game would benefit off of using skill shot and resource management type gameplay over spamming as a testament to actual skill vs pay2win in PvP. At least for the Necro, I like the drag and place type skills because it's more about your ability to position and line yourself than using all the best things at once.

For PvM I would have rather the enemies be fast and dangerous, like Hell in D2, except using high DPS, mobility and skill spam. If you aren't running from a pack of demons or corrupted rogues that are packed with high damage Auras or fleeing by potion spamming to survive lightning scarabs, are you really playing diablo?

played for a few hrs and i find that’s my #1 complaint - its just like any other rpg

The only other rpg I play is d2r, & I’ve definitely never played one on mobile, so I don’t have that issue but I guess I can understand that

I make decent money and i dont like pay to win games. Pay to win removes the competitive/skill element from the game. its not fun try to be competitive in a ptw game, all it means is that you're the dumbass who spent more than everyone else.
