It's not one of the good 5star games, so I doubt you get 500k+
but it depends on the server and the whales who are willing to spend that much.

I've seen Blood Soaked Jade 5star for less than 500k

I guarantee it sold faster than a rabbit gets fuc...

Anyways. Just because someone listed it as 500k doesnt make it 500k. Any 5 star gem is gonna sell 500k minumum. Post it for sale and watch it fly. Technically speaking the ratio for platinum right now is 1:110 so 500k platinum is only just under 5k fg. It's really cheap tbh.

What's 5k fg convert to in usd? People will happily pay 600k platinum for any 5 star gem.

there is no platinum:fg market.
And it's not 100 plat : 1 fg because you cant sell platinum without exchanging a gem that is already worth 50k

There is a market. There is actually quite a few people who are happy to sell. That's why the price is so low because, yes, you are in fact being double dipped on if you buy platinum. The ratio ends up technically being something like 1:30 after sales. Doesn't matter. There is in fact a market, if you're fortunate enough to find someone on your server. That is where the barrier seems to be. You don't even to scroll past the second page. You will find at least 3 people selling.

And you're probably basing this info on my actual conclusion. I'm fully aware that the seller of platinum in this transaction gets to effectively double dip.

a few people willing to sell is no market.
a few people willing to buy is no market.
even a couple actual trades is no market

a market has many transactions.


anyhow a 5 star echoing shade is currently 280k on my server and already for sale
a 5 star blessing is 310k and goes available in 9 hours
a 5 star jade is 640k and goes available in 40 minutes

The difference between the desired and undesired 5 star gems is huge

Considering the game is in its birth, it's hard to say theres a market based on the number of people participating. There is a market, people are just unable to trade due to server boundaries. There is also people unaware of the market due to the assumption that "there is none". People are unaware of how to do it, so they don't. It's a bit silly to say "because the majority doesnt do it, it isn't there."
Yes, the better gems will be priced more. Of course.
I'd buy the gem myself it was only 200k platinum. All day, every day.
