Everyone knows that this game is inaccessible to all F2P players. I've even seen people con Activision into giving them money back to try and play for just a little bit.

I'm asking this because in the games predecessor ( Diablo 3 ), it had a real money auction house. This was removed after some time. Could the same happen for D3M :casino edition?

I understand this goes against the core model of the game but I am hopeful that Activision will consider letting f2p players play this game.

Why play immortal rather than d3?

It is a good question. I guess the only thing that d3m has over d3 is that it’s newer.

Immortal is its own game. different storyline. different quests. clan battles. battleground pvp. Game is like a million times more fun than D3 ever was, and i played a lot of D3 too.

To be honest, I've spent ~10 bucks and dont plan on spending more than the battlepass each month and i'm having a ton of fun still. I dont know if it will continue on this trajectory but there is a match making rating so i'm hoping that the whales MOSTLY play against other whales. I'm ok dueling low tier and middle tier low spenders for a year if i can continue doing what i'm doing. I dont need to be the best of the best and drop 400k USD into it. whats the point.

If the argument is " I know it’s impossible for me to be as good as… I know I can’t do…. I know I get locked after.. I know my rifts can’t drop as… I know I can’t sell items but…"

This. Right here with you and although I disagree with some aspects of the game, it’s decently put together and plays super well. Curious to see if they do anything notable like other mobile games like events and login bonuses beyond what they have so far.
