Are there any other ways to farm legendary gems without Crests or doing rifts? Can't seem to find if they drop in dungeons.

No. It's one reason this game is predatory.

i quit now that i know that it is a 100% p2w game of ridiculous proportion.

there will be no way to effectively grind legendary gems without spending money.

and not talking about 10 or 50 dollars. its in the 1000s

I haven't played the game but I've watched a lot of content on it.

you need crests to get legendary gems plain and simple, I believe you get a few crests for free every now and then.

rare crests only allow you to obtain 2-star gems at most

legendary crests give a rare chance at 5-star gems. it's like 1 in 2000 to get a 5/5 star gem per one legendary crest so even paying only gives you a small chance

there is also a crafting system that allows you to craft 1 gem every 1 1/2 weeks

and supposedly on average, it would take 55 years to farm one 5/5 gem for free to play players.

and them you still have to empower it and upgrade it and blah blah blah...

long story short, the game is looking for your money

The 1000$ gacha system got to love it

You can farm platinum by selling normal gems. Get the 300 plat per day via 6 temple dungeon runs, sell 1-3 normal rank 1 gems. You can get about 500-1k Plat a day. In about a month or two you could probably buy most 5 star gems in the current market.

there is a timer (i think 11hours or so) before a sold item goes public. i tried selling a 2 star gem for 50% cheaper than the market. it still hasnt sold after 30ish hours.

blizz has looked over every single step in this game to get peoples money.

i dont mind spending money in-game. but this much FOR WHAT? i am in high end game and am blocked if i dont buy something.

This statement about selling is false as hell. I’ve sold some items in a matter of minutes.

Also you can craft regular 1* or 2* gems (randomly or their account bound) and sell them on the market as well. It’s not as fast as swiping your card but easily doable

Pretty sure there's a certain timer for higher tiered gems. There's a blood soaked jade in my server thats listed for like 26k plat (which imo is a steal), but the sale goes in 30+ hours. I think it let's people who want the gem actually have a chance to save or buy it.
