Hello,
I'd like to start making my own beef jerky. Sadly i can't spend much on a dehydrator. Any of you got good suggestions for a decent dehydrator ?

Nesco makes a good inexpensive dehydrator. That's what i use currently.

The best ones I have used have been the 10+ tray, roughly $175-280 range square units
Best features to have are a timer that also shuts off the power (IE, not just an old egg timer), temperature control, and a large fan for good airflow

You can make jerky on cheaper dehydrators, but these will work much better, especially if you plan to make a several pounds per batch
