As some of you may know, im in Tokyo now for a year... arrived last week.. and tomorrow i have a try out to work as a cook in japanese cuisine 3 michelin star Kanda restaurant.. huh im kinda nervous :S
I guess ill start as commis and ill show them what i can do .. we will see...

Toyko is crazy fun.

It suck's as a chef / cook, you work when others are out playing, having fun but I'm sure you'll still find some time to relax and kick back.

There are a lot of foreigners there too, so don't worry about speaking their language.

In that restaurant it seems everyone is japanese.. i think only the chef speaks english lol.. we will see..
And yeah Tokyo is a great city. I don't care if i need to work while others don't, anyway it's like i have family or much friends here lol.. nyway back home most of my friends are from the industry..

Anyway i quit the job.. place is crazy.. normal day is from 10am to 12pm, 6 days a week... only one meal... kitchen is super fucking small, not fonctional... beside the chef there is only 3 cooks and they running like demons nobody had time to show me anything... really understaffed place... didnt like the way they work either, so much waste ...

i worked 3 days. i had good reasons to quit. you wanna go work there and see how long you can last or what?

I really wonder how they got 3 Michelin stars if the place is that bad.
