Made pasta like a week ago. Want to know if it's safe to eat it.

like anything, theres no hard and fast rule. it can depend on how cold your fridge is, where in the fridge it is, etc. ive had cooked pasta last longer than a week, so its possible. if it smells 'off' or is slimy then dont use it. if it looks feels and smells fine then it probably is.

If you plan to store food for longer than a week, use a sealed container and store in the freezer.

Pasta I let it say in my fridge no longer than 2 days, sometimes 3 depending on how hungry I am and how good the pasta is.

Honestly though, I HATE microwaving or even heating up pasta in a pan.

But that's just me, I'm a chef and have worked in a kitchen for about 8 years. Maybe I'm just picky.

Just check for mold could be any color including red.
In addition to the post above.
Storing with. Olive oil helps last longer just tossing the pasta in it before you store it.

If your talking about dry pasta that will last forever.

I'm the same way (although I don't work in the culinary arts).

Good points. I don't usually store meals I cook and was a bit rusty with the advice.
