Was looking at doing a seared sesame crusted ahi tuna and maybe a ginger hoisin sauce.

anyone have a recipe they use or any other ahi tuna recipes?

seared tuna is always great, i usually just do salt and pepper. i tried finishing it with red wine one time, but i made the msitake of shaking the pan like i would have in a commercial setting ... at home. oops. had to replace the fan blade and the filter in the hood.

serve it with a sauce or pair it with anything? also for cooking, from what ive read, about min to 1.5 min per side?

it could go either way. its great plain, or you can sauce it up. i had it once with a balsamic reduction which was good. i dont usually time it but 1.5 per side sounds pretty good.

Could do a spicy sauce like Wasabi or Thai chili. Let us know what your feeling. Salt and sear sounds great. Idk about peper.

Since summer mabye a mezcal vin. Lime juice evvo mezcal teq..

well im not a very good cook, so preferably something easy would be best :)
